I'm running out of Zymol and will need to go get more wax soon. What do you guys use? What would you recomend for a 10 year old car with stock paint. What is clay bar? Is that worth buying?

a buddy of mine used some meguiar's cleaner-wax on my car the other day. worked incredibly!

 

try out the clay bar, you won't regret it.

 

clay bar removes contaminants that have bonded onto the surface of the paint and can't be washed off.

for usual cleaning and maintenance, wash and wax should be enough, but if you want to have your paint glasss-smooth, claying followed by a coat of polish, finish up with some good wax, you'll have show-quality paint in no time!

 

Can you get the clay bar at any autostore like Autozone or Advance Auto Parts?

 

use a Zaino claybar. and the Z1, Z2 or Z3 (depending on if you have a clear coat or not), Z7. trust me on this.

Clay bar makes a noticeable difference that you can see and very easily feel. It really interesting to get your car real clean then use the clay bar on half a panel and feel the difference
