I know of a Volkswagen/Audi specialty shop in Falls Church called Volkwerks. However, whenever I saw the vehicles that they were working on, it looked like they were more of a general maintenance/repair service that specialized in those cars rather then an aftermarket performance shop. I can't vouch for the quality of their work.

EIP Tuning does a lot of Euro performance. However, they are in MD...if I remember correctly they are NW of Baltimore actually. It must have a decent reputation because I have heard NOVA Volkswagen people mention the place...I stake my thoughts about the reputation based on the fact that if they are willing to drive that kind of distance for work, then it must be good work. But again, I can't vouch for their work, and for all I know, the NOVA Volkswagen people could all be talking about a different EIP Tuning shop.

I know its not much help, but maybe these shop names will get you somewhere or will encourage others on this board to speak up about their dealings with the shops and/or what they have heard about them.

most of your vw tuner shops are gonna be up in MD, it sucks, but its well worth it if what your doing is what you want. I was gonna post earlier about EIP but i figured that was a given, check up in the Regional Forums > Capital section on Vwvortex.com Im certain the guys there can give you good places to check out.

ah yes currys, you can get your car chipped there, they do GIAC i believe...but you have to call in if you go do that because they have like only one guy that does the actually chipping and he goes back and forth between NoVA and Richmond in doing that kind of work. I think currys is in sterling right?
