I was in Fredricksburg for about 8 months before moving to the Beach. I really liked it up there, but there really is a lot less entertainment. If you are self-entertained, then you may be good to go. I was also less into the street racing scene, or I should say, I wasn't able to find the hang-outs...my Z28 didn't attract enough attention I guess. Anyway, I think I prefer the Beach for the people, too...you can find you rniche around here, guaranteed...you may never find the people that you like up in rural NOVA...

NOVA is landlocked.
VA Beach has more Filipinos.
NOVA does not have that gay ass "No Cruising" law.
NOVA has DC right around the corner which makes nightlife more abundant.......the downside IMO would be the dress code requirements.

NoVA is better.

 

- Attractive women are much more abundant in NoVA, and come in many more flavors than the 757. There are certain places in MD (where I work) where the women are DIMES; and most of them are $$ too.

- Traffic sux really bad in NoVA. It is fucking ridiculous.

- Good jobs pay alot more in NoVA.

- Homes cost much more in NoVA. If you're in the market to buy a house, you're better off in 757.

- The "import scene" is much better here. Less rice, more Ferraris.
(For every Civic you see in 757, you will see a BMW in NoVA)

- 757 is more commercially advanced (ie: things are more spread out in NoVA; few theaters have stadium seating yet; etc.). With the population, I just expect more shit going on around here. But I guess there's not much room for shit with all the parking lots that we refer to as roads and highways.

- 757 has rednecks.

- NoVA has morons that don't speak English.

- Crime level seems significantly lighter in NoVA. DC is a different story.

- Large Asian population in NoVA; actually we have it ALL here. 757 is mostly white/black, with handfuls of other flavors here and there.

- DC is not far....there is LOTS to do there!

- The chronic is better in NoVA.

- People are basically the same (personality wise). My friends in NoVA are just like my friends in 757; although my NoVA friends aren't robbing people and doing heroin. Most of them have jobs.

- In 757, I was one hour away from Busch Gardens (walking, few good rides). In NoVA, I am a bit over an hour from Kings Dominion (roller coasters, roller coasters, roller coasters).

 

the dope in nova really is chronic or is the chronic dope either way it keep you green haha ive never been to the 757 though there have to be some good things goin on

......we got some of the fastest street cars(imports) in the nation here ....damn...thats all i can think of rigth now .
the beach is a good place to visit ,but NoVa owns!

VA BEACH IS DRAMA CENTRAL! i'm never moving back there. peeps who still live there never grow as an individual, it's the same old bullshit down there, and i'm so sick of it.
