Actually Subaru drivers don't take their stuff to any of the above. There is a guy named Andrew who works inside Hillsmuth Certified Automotive at the Montgomery County Airpark. Hes one of the best Subaru techs in the country. All of the Subaru guys who are looking to have major work done to their cars go talk with him and have him do it. TurboXS personally recommends him to install all of their products. Altered Atmosphere pushed me away from them and told me to talk to Andrew when I wanted something done to my WRX.

Ultimate/Mach V has a wide selection, but their prices are HIGH, REAL HIGH. While they have some hard to find accessories, you can get most of the performance stuff they sell for a cheaper price shipped elsewhere.

Andrew at Hillsmuth will do the labor, but you need to find the parts.

But as far as trustworthy, I don't know about that. I have had a lot of work done through them and the fucked up my turbo and didn't admit to it, so the sent it out to TX. My car has been there for over 3 months now and they wont even respond to my messages. They will say a date of when it will be done and multiply that by at least 3 too and there excuse is we have other work to be doing instead, which was that 66' Mustang in the back that doesn't have to be done till Spring. I am not impressed at all esp. when I have droped over 4G's with them for thing like custom IC piping, Port&Polish and many parts, and my car has never ran good since it has came out of there shop.
Your turbo was fucked up before it arrived. I know because I saw it there and actually pointed it out to Mike after he wanted to know what kind of Turbo it was. Your head was also messed up before it arrived at the shop...ports for cylinder 3 and 4 had been ported and the other half hadn't. I don't know what you had done or why but blaming your damaged 16g on ultimate is asinine.

No shit. I'm talking about the T3/TO4E they destroyed while taking apart. STFU until you know what your talking about next time.

Oh, and I find it pretty pathetic that a costomer has to point out shit wrong with a car that the shop tech couldnt find, that says enough right there.

You admit that your 16g was ruined when you brought it to them. Good, because it is true. But I didn't know you were talking about the t3/t4 they replaced it with, and because I have no knowledge of what happened I won't even put forth a guess...but I find it very unlikely that they damaged a brand new turbo.

And please read a little more...Mike asked me what size the turbo was while I was visiting the shop because I know dsm turbos and he hadn't seen too many just yet (that has changed a lot in the last few months)...because it was a tdo5h housing I had to look at the blades to determine whether it was a 16g or a 14b...that is when I noticed how much damage had been inflicted on the turbo.

Incorrect. You were the customer, not me. And obviously you lack the experience and knowledge has has in the tuning world. Anytime you want to line up against his truck I'll let him know.

currys ae a bunch of sheisters, my friend dropped his car off there to have it looked over after an engine swap to make sure everythings good

they told him engine is bad, too much crankcase pressure, and caught on fire in the shop. Tried to rip him off of 4000 bucks for a engine rebuild. He took it somewhere else and they said its perfectly fine. Be careful with currys.

My buddy fucked up my turbo my leaving a screw in my intake filter when putting it on while I was wiring the SAFC w/o telling me and later when I wound out he told me he fucked up.
I my self am a mechanic at a shop and have done alot of work for over 10 peoples cars that are this board alone in my spare time that can vouch for me and my work. I do not know how to weld, dyno tune, and did have the time to figure out what was wrong with the exhaust leaking b/c I work over 55 hours a week so I took a suggestion from a buddy to try Ultimate/MachV and was my 1st time ever bringing any of my cars to a shop to have someone else work on it and was semi-impressed (other than there crazy prices) with there work until I borught it back B/C I need them to crush the coolant line, reweld it and make custom line along with a new I/C pipe be welded and they fucked up and would not own up to it when the tore my turbo apart it was not able to be reassembled. And why would I want to race an 8 sec truck?
