why didnt you say you were coming to nova

 

long story short: i was supposed to be in nags head, but ended up in nova.

 

how the fuck that happen...what part of nova did you end up in

 

I was talking with my best friend, who lives in Fairfax, on Thursday. He had the idea that we move to the outer banks for the summer. I was game, so he suggested that we drive down there Friday to look for jobs, check out real estate and what not. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a license right now. Friday rolls around and I make my way up to his place to pick him up. When we leave from his house, we hit really bad traffic. Go figure. This puts us way behind schedule. About the time we get around Williamsburg, we realize that we're not getting to NC till 10ish. This really doesn’t work because nothing is going to be open. He has the idea that we'll sleep in the car and go everywhere when it opens in the morning. Catch is that he has to work at 2. This means that we have to hit all these places up around 8am and get on the road. I tell him that nothing opens at 8am on a Saturday. It’s about this time that we realize that our goals for the trip will not be accomplished. We end up spending the night in Newport News and heading back up to Fairfax in the morning. I ended up staying the night there and driving back Sunday. I spent about 16 hours driving this weekend. It was great.
