lol so i recently found a mongoose skateboard (i didnt know they made skateboards) in my driveway and ive been practicing at work like everyday (i still suck)

but i was wondering does anyone skateboard around campus from like class to class....cuz i HATE walking from the lot allllllll the way cross campus to get to my class. and i was thinking about getting a longboard to ride around

is it allowed? havent really seen anyone ride anything besides bikes and that dude with the sigway (spelling)

ps. if you see me on campus and i fall dont laugh.

when i used to go there to visit my fiance on nice days there were actually alot of people riding them. i would say do it fuck it.

 

campus police will be dicks if your doing more than just riding, i know from personal experience lol

I know that quite a few kids in the dorms ride longboards. Haha that guy on the segue totally passed me and scared the crap out of me the other day.

I think theres a shop in old town fairfax. Can't remember the name though.

 

In the spring time i see people riding skateboards all the time. Usually where I see skateboarders is at the little stairway between Robinson A and B, they attempt to jump those 3 or 4 steps. Most of the places you would grind on have little tabs to prevent ppl from doing that. But if i remember correctly there was a "no skateboarders allowed" sign, but ppl do it anyway.

 

Gravity is a good brand of longboard to get. Depending on the type of wheels you get for it, you can take the Gravity board down dirt paths. I had one when I lived in the Outer Banks and I would fly down the road.

Asylum Wake, Skate, and Snow would probably have Gravity boards. I don't know of any other skate shops in the area.
