I am passing along information I got from NCCA and a TV show they are pushing for through the Discovery Channel. They are looking for a show of support from tuners & car show enthusiasts on Monday June 26 from 11:30-1:00 at the Discovery Channel headquarters in Silver Springs, MD. Post here if you may be interested in attending so I can get an approximate headcount.

Hello Tuners,

My name is Ron Small and I am the owner of Matrix Media, Inc. and Ricochet
Entertainment, producers of entertainment and documentary programs for
global distribution. I have in recent months acted as Executive Producer
for a proposed new High Definition television series entitled Autotuning
TV, which offers insight into the Tuning world as has never been seen
before. Working very closely with Andy Goodman and Neil Tjin, we have
presented this series to a number of high profile television networks,
with a bias toward Discovery Channel as our number one choice. We have
already had meetings with some of their top brass, and we want to make
sure everyone at the network knows who we are. As such, we feel it
important to impress upon Discovery the power of the Tuning industry and
are planning a major event to impress the decision makers. We will bring
a minimum of 50 awesome cars to the Discovery headquarters in Silver
Spring, Maryland (1 Discovery Pl Silver Spring, MD 20910-3354, US) on
Monday, June 26 between 11:30am and 1:00pm and would like all of you to
attend. Between the impact of the hottest cars, the press attendance, our
own camera crew, flyers, banners and interviews of Discovery employees by
Andy and Neil, we are convinced this will be the catalyst for getting this
show on the air. And, incidentally, this event will be a total surprise
to Discovery and should be the topic of conversation for days.
