No one is going to rent space at their business to someone that they don't know with no references. Far too much of a liability to deal with. Hell, I wouldn't let you in the back of the shop I manage alone for 5 minutes without knowing you let alone rent you space.

I wasn't looking to rent with someone's business. Was hoping there was a group of guys already renting or someone knew of some space available.

Clearly posting on a local auto enthusiast forum was the wrong thing to do.
