Getting ready to move home for the summer and i'm trying to find a good self storage place for a few items. Im looking for a nice mid point between cheap and not a crap hole. Stored items at a place in Hampton once and when i went to get them out they were ruined by water not trying to repeat the experience. Let me know.

 

There is a storage place in Chantilly. Its on the westbound side of 50 and it literally sits on the Fairfax/Loudoun County line right next to Moore Cadillac/Hummer. The facility is maybe a few years old, gated, multi-story with a big industrial grade elevator that you access from the inside via keycode.

My work kept a bunch of stuff in there for well over a year, including some pieces of technology, and it never leaked. They no longer use the place and have since cancelled the lease on the place and disposed of the technology because it became outdated.

 

there's a bunch of places in Fairfax, depends what area you want your shit in. my girl has some stuff in the one just off rt29 in the city of Fairfax, i think it's called "United Store-all" or something like that. If you're keeping it short term, they offer the 1st month for $1 (at least they used to).
