I have just moved to NoVA and haven't done too much exploring around yet, but I have used yelp.com to find some good places.

Good luck on the hunt, look forward to seeing where ya end up.

Any of the Great American Restaurants. I'm always happy with their food and service. Reasonable pricing too.

Mezza Grille in Broadlands. After 9pm or so they also serve Shisha (mmmmmmm) but they have mediterranean cuisine. i try to go there about once every 2 weeks or so
