Hey yall,

I wanted to make this thread to help those who want to import a jdm car but do not know how to make it drivable in VA. If you know any info or facts about this subject please share with us so that we can help people make more informed decisions when buying a imported car.

Whose we? And shouldn't you know all the information about importing cars instead of asking people if your going to be the person importing the vehicle? I don't mean to put you out like that but that's what I'm wondering, even though from the few people I have talked to it's alot harder to physically impossible to import a car into the US from another country unless your military, but I could be wrong....

 

We, as in the vadriven board??? and I know a few things, but most is hear say and since this thread is to help people in showing them the facts I dont want to share any hear say becuase i could be wrong.
Lastly, again this is to help people know the facts because i know va is a tricky state to register imports, and I am not the one who is doing any kind of importing.

its funny when you try to ask an honest question pertaining to information that many people could find useful and people give you shit for it because they have nothing better to do.

this is still a car forum contrary to popular belief. your best bet would be to contact your local DMV during non-peak hours. if you gain some useful information please post it up for others on the web.
