The air may be hot, but the water won't be. The water down there is nasty, so a warm temperture would at least make it a little more tolerable. I like boating and waverunning in Long Island. Where my family lives is far enough from the city and the water is pretty clean.
Jet skis are alot harder to get started on cuz you have to kneel on em, then stand up and pull up the front at the same time. It can be a bitch, especially when you ride like me and always get knocked into the water. Hopefully he'll have waverunners! I'll pay for the gas since I'll probably be on them as much as possible.

Jade: I'm most definitely game. I'll probably ride the bike to the beach that weekend(weather permitting).

As far as riding in the rain, I'm not skerd of it. When I took my MSF class, it rained all weekend, the teacher said "We don't charge extra for rain." So I've ridden in rain even before I got my license. Like Jason said, it's just another thing to worry about. My CBR is 5 days old and I don't want her in the rain yet.(I just spent 3 hrs. detailing her) Plus, the civic just got new Yokos mounted on the wheels and I haven't started her since Fri. because of my bike......I have to balance the fleet somehow and I don't want to neglect my civic cuz when all is said and done, I'll get rid of the bike before I get rid of the civic.

L.Mini & JasonVT: I love my 2 car garage! It's reserved for me and I have the oldest car out of all my roommates.

 

arent they nice? ours has an 00 WS6 and a 01 Cabrio in it. the truck get the driveway.

 

My garage has the civic & cbr on one side and the other side is full of car parts and junk. We'll be doing spring cleaning and a yard sale soon to make room for my rommates 99 jeep and I think my other rommmate is looking at getting a 03 Maximas so they'll have to fight for that space....I keep mine until the day they can beat me in an arm wrestling match.

It's not really that far. I rode for 5 hours on Sunday and put 300 miles on her and I'm fine. When I'm not carving a turn, I back away from the gas tank.

This time it will be ME who has to slow down and let you guys catch up....even you Eric....hahahaha.

Also, when we cruise, all I have to do is unzip my jeans a little and give my hardy boys a good breeze......it aint no mystery!.
