bill of sale doesnt matter. its what you write on the title. i went thru this before when i sold a car to my friend. it was a hassle. i ended up having to get a something notorized for DMV before they would accept the title

also, dmv will usually not allow you to write it as a gift unless its from like parents to kids

it was on the back of the title also lol it was hilarious dmv is gonna be like wtf
