Well, if you want a honda turbo kit installed, then sure, go to Inline. If you want a roll cage installed, then go to CDE. Thats what they are good at, but neither of them is a machine shop. I think that both (especially inline) are ripoff artists, I think CDE is a bit more respectable. But thats just my opinion.
Why would anyone, who is looking to have a block built, take it to a shop, that does not have a machine shop on premisis, when all they are going to do is take it to a machine shop themselves. All you are paying for is them to drive it to the machine shop for you. Besides, all inline is going to do is try to sell you one of their headgaskets, or some other BS. Im not going to defame anyone, its not my place. But......I can talk alllllllllll day about inline.

My car is sitting at inline right now getting arias 9:1 pistons and eagle rods and is being done with the block inside the engine bay. They will not send ur block out etc: unless it needs to be bored out. Hopefully mine wont' have too but will not know 100% until the factory pistons come out. But from what they and I can see...its so far so good.

 

exactly gs_jbr, they sent my block to GE to have it sleeved, but they did the build, i was there while it was done. I think someone must work for another shop or honestly had a bad dealing with inline, you can't please everyone all the time. Inline gets a thumup in my book.

 

Thats diffrent, your motor is in your car still. All i was saying, was that it would just be easier to take the blcok to the machine shop yourself. than deal with a third party. Hey, EX since you know them so well, hows that lawsuit going where they dropped that kids car off the lift and totaled it? or the Patent violation lawsuits from revhard, and STR?

Please dont compare AAM to inline. AAM is 10X the shop inline is. But.......even AAM has blown up there fair share of cars.

10X the shop? InlinePro has the some of fastest cars at the track and on the street. The only thing I have seen come out of AAM is a 9 second truck.

Are u fucking serious? They built that thing from the ground up. Do you not think they can build 1 measly race car? They have built 500+ plus street cars, but they cant put together 1 little race car?
