ok. i found these 2 parks here in maryland. one is right next to a wal-mart and it looks more like a place for people to park and go boat riding as there is a trail leading down to a water front.



the 2nd is at a park called Ballenger Creek Park. it has MORE than enough parking for at least like 40 or 50 cars. but thats just one parking lot. football and soccer field right next to the parking lot for those who want top play.





so would any of yall like to come up here for a BBQ? its no more than an hour from Springfield Mall and you wont have to worry about cops bothering us. ill have the address to Ballenger Creek Park in a lil bit.

where in MD are the two parks? are they in Frederick? They both look good, the only thing I would worry about is the cops kicking us out.

 

I was stationed in Frederick for 4 years, I thought the cops there were pretty strict. They gave the post commander an Inop brake light citation as he was sitting in line waiting to get on post once.

 

For a gathering of cars, Frederick cops have the chance to get strict. However, back in my much younger days, back when a lot of cars would cruise the Golden Mile on Friday and Saturday nights and have a little fun just outside the city limits, Frederick cops didn't do much at all even when they could have. (The only time I ever saw cops do anything there was when a LS1 Camaro and LS1 Pontiac lit off a race right as MSP was coming down the mountain behind them on routine patrol...talk about bad luck for those two cars).

Just keep the meet civil and respect the property, and I'm sure everything will be fine.

 

I will say that area is nice to cruise in a bike or vert this time of year. start in frederick go north on 15 to rt. 30 in PA all the way over to 11 down to hagerstown, cruise dual HWY (40) to the golden mile. Take ya a couple hours but you'll see alot of nice scenery.

 

....and its on the way towards Phantom fireworks............I believe.

 

there is no need to worry about the cops. we'll be having a BBQ just like everyone else does at that park so they cant bother us. just as long as we act like we have a brain in our heads we dont have to worry.
