I have about 9 cars going today to race and im hoping to see more of you out there!!! we go about every wednesday and its alot of fun its only 15 bucks to race "you race as many times as you want with just about no wait and some times there is no wait" Racing starts at 5 ends at 8pm.

Fuck they even let me race with my T tops off and windows down lol... "not smart"

No man they dont really give a shit when it coems to test and tunes.. they dont even check for your licence or anything...

im with boxhead...u can pay 15 dollars to race at mir and run a 1/4 mile

 

its a good alternative though, instead of travelin a few hours for a 1/4 mile you can just head there and get a little driving done.

ok.... first off how does 8th mile suck?

MOST races are won in the first 60 feet let alone 8th mile...

the only diff in 8th mile in qr mile racing you shift one more time... "wow!!"

You go 8th mile racing so you get to know your car better when it comes to "launching" and figuring out how to win with your car in the first 60 feet including your reaction and 8th mile.


8th mile is for people who know how to drive... qr mile is fun... dont get me wrong but its only one more gear you shift and mash the gas for another 2-3 seconds...

8th mile is where its all won and lost including the first 60 feet!


Any ways i had 20 or so cars show up that are friends of ares... everything from a turbo GSR to a 1970'ish 455 cutt, to a mustang to a LS-vtech powered honda's to 1981 rabbit gti to a Twin turbo 300zx and ls integra with nitrous and anotehr civic gsr hatch with nitrous ect ect... it was ALOT of fun!!! hopefully we can see you guys there next time...
