i got 20% on all windows and have been hassled more for my exhaust and never about my windows, ftc

 

I had 14% tint on my car (on it when I bought it) and the only time I got tickets for it was on 95 and 64. I got those two tickets in about a years time. Nova cops never bothered me although I don't spend a ton of time in FFX, I live in Prince William County.

I don't think it's really worth it to get dark tints IMO. Usually you can get away with 35% but any darker and you're pushing it. Not to mention the third ticket you get is a felony if it's not removed so you'll end up spending a lot of money for pretty much nothing. $150+ tint, $100+ per ticket, $65+ to remove it.

 

i've never had a problem up there, but i have found that cops pull you more for tint at night than during the day, i guess it looks darker at night

 

 

I on the other hand got my tickets in broad day light. I think it's more iffy for cops to pull you over at night cause all tints are going to look darker than in sunlight so if the cop is wrong he's going to get himself
