Northern Virginia Car Club Council Has Been Formed
The mission of the NOVACCC is two-fold:
1. To allow the various clubs in the Northern Virginia area to speak with a common voice regarding legislative matters affecting our hobby,
2. To improve the communications and information sharing between member clubs.
Why your club should join the NOVACCC:
There are many types of car clubs in the Northern Virginia area and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Members of these clubs are involved in all sorts of automotive and non-automotive activities. These activities include: attending car shows and cruise nights; club trips to various scenic or historic locales; charity work to raise money for homeless shelters, disaster victims, and special education schools; and much more. While others may just see the car enthusiast as a "gear head" addicted to gasoline fumes and speed, the true enthusiast knows that there is much more to the automotive hobby.
By joining NOVACCC, clubs and their members will help promote a positive image of our chosen hobby, maintain contact with a geographically far-flung group of fellow enthusiasts, and be on guard against those who would deprive us of the enjoyment that our hobby brings with it.
How does one join the NOVACCC:
Membership is very easy. Just go to
http://www.novaccc.org/Information.htm
and download a copy of the Council bylaws and membership application. Fill out the application and mail it and the $10.00 dues to the address on the form. After the application has been received and approved by the Council, you will be eligible to vote at Council meetings as defined in the bylaws.
