Well since I didn't see a standard introduction area I figured I would just post up here.

I'll be moving down to NoVa from Buffalo, NY in ~2 weeks or so, just took a new job in the area and figured I'd scope out the car scene before I move.

I currently drive an E36 BMW M3 which I might be looking to sell and upgrade to an E46 soon. Here's a picture of how she looks:



Since my job is with computers, etc. I am sure I'll be on here checking things out from time to time and see about any meets/track days, etc. and so forth.

Feel free to drop a PM or anything. I'm 100% new to the area and know very little people down this way.

What's the closest track in the area? Do you guys have planned track days, etc?

In case you're talking about tracks with turns....Summit Point and VIR are probably the closest. No organized track days on this site per say, but look in the Twisties forum here for some events or just check www.trackschedule.com for a list of events at both tracks (and many others)
