went to the mid atlantic subaru meet at fair lakes...i was in my friends 02 wrx when some kid in a bike pulls behind us and starts revving...my friend revs and as soon as the bike heard the bov he took off and went in the middle of 2 lanes (we were next to another car) and jus passed us. he did that like 50 times down the road crazy cocky crotchrockets..it was a gay bike too some crappy yamaha.

well after that we went to maleks, if ur from springfield/annandale/ area u probably know thats the meeting place for all the street racers in the area. anyway, some 03 mustang gt drives by revving his shit and peelin out...so we all got in our cars to chase after him. my friend in his 94 cobra ran him and lost by like a cars length, went back to maleks and they jus talked about their domestic shit lol. my friend and his turbocharged neon decided he wanted to run the mustang gt...they shook on a 20 dollar bet haha. 20mph rolling start to 100mph on the springfield overpass by springfield mall...the mustang gt was a little ahead of the neon...but around 45-60 mph the neon left him and won by like 3 cars. so he paid up and that was it. predictable outcome...the mustang sounded stock but im not sure what it had under the hood. neon is somewhat heavily modded.

anyway....anyone on the forum thats in the area should drop by Maleks, its off of old keene mill road and is in Springfield plaza along with the giant, big k-mart and shit. friday/saturday nights is when everyone goes

 

Your friend had the black turbo neon? Nice car and all, but save the antics for when you're away from the meet... No need to draw "unwanted" attention to 40 hooked up cars by hittin' the gas and making all sorts of noise on your way out.

I cant believe you guys race there. There is a state trooper station right below you, and tons of county cops there. My girlfriend got a ticket on that overpass.

 

i've been racing over that bridge since i got my car, its safe as long as its late at night

 

hahaha yea that was him that was revving the neon when we were leaving...i was in teh wrx behind him...i heard ppl yellin "ITS A NEON" haha funny shit..and the overpass...yea its pretty safe as long as u make sure its clear and no cops first.

 

that is the worst place ever one of my friends was going 80 over the pass and when he came over the crest of the hill ...hello fairfax county po po. and then one nite i was driving my hatch and 3 guys in a lil pick up with apc's kept fucking with me i mash it in 3rd till 5000 rpm and on come the flashy blue lights ... I got 2 tickets and a court date. Spf is a cool place and maleks is tight on the late night but its def. not a place for racing and evil shananagans ...just my 2pennries

The CRX got stolen about 10 months ago... I've got an FB RX-7 now...
