Thumbs up New exhaust in the works!

Just ordered my B&B exhaust yesterday. Yeah, they're outrageously expensive, but since I'm getting back every penny I asked for from the insurance company, I figured I might as well order the best one available.

There are many different sizes and styles available. I chose the 2.5" piping w/ quad oval tips. Should look close enough to stock to minimize police harassment.

These exhausts are custom made to order, so I should have it in about one month.

If you're interested in hearing what it sounds like, there are 2 sound files on www.boost-solutions.com
Click on 300ZX -> Exhaust/Downpipe -> click on the sound files

2.5" is most efficient for twin turbo's in my power range. Remember, that I have a true dual exhaust. 3" would be ideal if I had ONE exhaust pipe. I did alot of research before ordering, and experts have proven that 3" piping can actually hamper performance whereas 2.5" is perfect for my goals. I would not need dual 3" exhaust until I got in the 800+ HP range. I'm only shooting for @ 500rwhp.

Yeah, I'm sure the domestic crowd and the "older" Z guys would find my new exhaust more appealing than the gawdy HKS exhaust I have now (although the HKS Hiper had been proven to be one of the best exhaust systems for the Z32 because the angles of the pipes are more obtuse than the others out there).

Thanks! I used to not care for the quad tip designs; but something about that B&B stainless steel oval tips....just looks sharp to me.

yeah, but the one I have now just screams "Hey if you're an asshole cop, come pull me over!" At least with the B&B, I can play it off, unless the cop is a Z fan and knows his shit, in which case he shouldn't give me a ticket anyways!

Yeah, luckily my car's stock height is too low for fat cops to poke their head underneath and look for missing cats. But I could probably bullshit my way through that one too!
