Quit hating, it's a great all around car you atleast gotta admit that. Like what everyone said, credit IS due and the fact that 'it's stll a neon' is so irrelevant and does not directly link itself to it's potential. Think about it, with a few mods and a little tuning it's capable of mid to low 13s. I do admit, though, that it's NOT AS ATTRACTIVE in comparison to other 4 bangers but it's not at all 'ugly'.

has anyone in here actually driven it? its nothing more than a neon w/ a turbo it... it feels awkward like they just slapped a turbo on, put a big wing, and put seats w/ RIDICULOUS bolsters in them... it get s a HUGE thumbs down from me

i have to agree with dr. on point about this, the srt-4 is a very capable car and for 20k you are getting a great deal.

Damn 20K and it runs 14.2 stock. I just dont like how it looks. I wish it had a different body style. It runs neck and neck with an Infinity G35 which I plan on buying later on this year.

Neon SRT hmm.....Let me think. i say slow for the money involved. Neon motors are weak. The only good thing i see is the turbo from the factory and that they supply factory upgrades that wont void the warranty.

I think they are ugly and have EXCESSIVE wheel spin. I have driven one a few times and I do like it alot BUT, you can't launch it hard w/o slicks or slipping the clutch. What I really like is the Mopar supported upgrades and how cheap they are... my WRX $hit is silly expensive.
