why don't you just gut it and use duricolor spray paint? thats how I did mine and it looks great, granted I could of spent more time sanding but over all It came out great for a 2 week rush job

did you take out the tar padding too? what you use to sand it?

i thought you meant paint your interior panels when you first posted this but:

i did mine, you can use a chisel and hammer to take out the tar, or you can use dry ice, let it sit for a bit, use a chisel and hammer, and bam. comes out easily. sand it with 320-600 grit.

i didn't use dry ice, it took me longer.
