UPDATE:

Maryland Governor told MSP to cease and desist using NVG to ticket motorists once he found out on Saturday that they were using such a tactic.

I'm suprised FFX hasn't done it either. I don't know if any of you have ran into one, but last summer I ran into a FFX Co. "terrorist checkpoint" by my parents house in Centreville. I rolled through it and the cop asked me why I didn't have a front tag on my car. He then proceeded to tell me that terrorists have been known to use stolen tags to engage in illegal activities. I asked the officer why they felt the need to have a "terrorist checkpoint", he said that it would keep potential terrorists off the road. I tried not to laugh at that point. I wonder what they will come up with next.
