Alright guys/gals I've accepted a job offer near Bolling AFB in DC can anyone on here recommend a nice neighborhood near there? I'm looking for a studio/1 bedroom apt for around $700-$900/month. I'm not familiar with DC area so I need some good input. Thanks

Some parts of NOVA are nice to live in. Some parts of Alexandria, even Woodbridge wouldnt be that bad

Got a friend that lives behind the racetrak gas station off 234 in a 1 bedroom with a small studio for 850 without all utilities....and another friend in Cville that has a 1 bedroom with a studio @$1250.00. Great to own around here but not so good to try to rent.

to be honest if you are alone and could deal with a few things then
move to SE or NE near RFK stadium. My first apartment in SE was a whole 350 month 1 bedroom with NOTHING!!!!!! The rent was dead or dirt cheap but you gotta factor in all the other things that go on over there. How could i put this in a nice way.................... If you are light weight are come across as a gump then certain people will try to fuck with you.

I now live in silver spring and the rent on a 3bedroom is 1275 month.....Try to look in the paper for a basement apartment to rent with a private entrance. My friend found one in takoma park near montgomery college for 435 a month....

Its best to get a apt in NOVA...I live in falls Church right off 66. Takes 10 minutes every morning to get there...And also its 1/4 mile away from EAST FALLS CHURCH metro station. My APT is really nice, not ghetto and in a safe neighborhood. 950 single bedroom, utilites included. Sometimes i even take the metro. Its really easy to get back and forth from my place.
