Anyone know when MIR or Capitol Raceway closes for the season? I wanna hit the tracks 1 more time before they close.

i was at capitol today with some friends, we got a lot of runs in. i managed a 12.8, much better then my 13.6 at MIR last week, i really liked capitol. i was told by an employee that works there that they will stay open as long as the weather stays good, which means no snow. so they will be open longer then MIR.

 

Wow 12.8. Thats pretty good. Are you still running stock IC and ECU? Did you upgrade your injectors yet?

 

correct, im still on stock intercooler and untuned. also stock injectors and fuel system. i really wish i had some better tires or slicks. i was going to up the boost a little but didnt want to take the chance so i left it at 13psi.

 

I went up to capitol with some friends of mine and that track sux so bad, in my opinion. I could not get any kind of traction, and they charge more than they do at mir. I understand that you get alot of runs in and all but I rather get a couple of good runs in than a bunch off crappy ones.

If the car is back up and running right with the new turbo, I'm going to try for MIR. If it's warmer then 50 degrees, I will go to VMP instead.

 

I'm down to go to the track this weekend and get some final times for the winter, anyone else wanna roll next weekend?
