ok, i emailed the editor at potomac news and bitched about the old dominion closing and how pwc acts towards the import/domestic community, i also told her about the megameet we had and etc.I also told her about bk at 28 and invited her and her potomac news "crew" there to maybe interveiw people and get some pictures to hopefully get the word out to pwc that they need to get something going for us "another megameet type of thing" well she emailed me back and said " Joshua,

Maybe we could meet at the Burger King on either a Friday or Saturday as you had said and you can show me around and introduce me to some of your friends. well that is why i posted it on dragva, almost all of the people type about shit as if they are responsible on the road so i was hoping dragva guys would be there to help educate pwc on what we have left to do and hopefully get the potomac news to write positive and try to convince pwc to get us something like reissuing the permit for the megameet or anything in that matter. but like you guys said she might blow shit out of content or there might be some dumbasses trying to show off and that might be all she writes about....................i guess this has its pros and cons

 

people get a lil rowdy out there at BK, last time i was there there was a fight and people always pull outta there blasting.
The best example by far would have been the megameets since they were so under control.

With an event that pretty much invites everyone you're bound to have some ricers or idiots that will fuck everything up for you by doing a burnout or whatever. Theres a reason the megameets got shut down, thats just the way it is. You can do what you want to prove that "its not like that" but you really can't do shit to keep the ricers/idiots away.

 

I am not so sure BK is the place you want to do this. but I mean it's a crap shoot. I've been there when it's normal...I've been there when a kid in his daddies Hummer broke an axle. I mean you never know what you might get.

 

when you guys go out to BK, just tell them straight up. "This is an example of both the good and the bad. here you will see stupid idiots street racing, burning out, and, inm general, ruining it for the rest of the people, who you see here, sitting down, hanging out, and completely obeying the law, just doing what they like, BSing about cars. Its the people that are always trying to set up races, trying to act 'cool' by doing bunouts and dragging the bumper of their pick-ups thats get the rest of us in trouble and ruin our fun, just because we were doing what, talking about cars, and doing nothing illegal what-so-ever?"
