Maleks Tonight? 9 p.m
doubt they were going to maleks. I went by and the whole lot was empty cept for the people working there so meh. We have to plan something soon...deff when the weather gets warmer
Yes, these are the days of 9 second trailored imports and some nasty 7 sec drag radial V8's. But we created the days of daily driven 10 sec street cars and helped provide the new generation with the knowledge they have today to do what they do.
My new car is not half what my old car is, just a new little toy to play with. But I know where I came from and what I and a select hand few of others helped create around here. So i'm no F&F baby, i'm og for my age group.
Nothing will beat the days of Metro and V-Street, but down south had some good spots too. Bmore was great too.
Honestly, I don't know how long you've been around this. But I was street racing and doing all this in the mid 90's. Maleks was just local to us and after metro got shut down it was just a chill spot to hang out with friends. I was on here back when it was dragva not vadriven. I rep'd hard for the NOVA area and if you don't recognize my screen name from my license plate on a little red coupe back in the day, maybe you're the one that is part of this younger generation. There is alot of people that have foregotten how good we used to have it and who really ran what around here. Now it's just anyone with a little turbo kit or a V8 with a decent tire on it and they think they are doing something.
