If you were further north I'd talk to my boss for you. My job is on a hiring craze b/c we're trying to expand and tackle bigger jobs in the near future. In fact, we just hired 3 friends of mine on my reccomendation alone, and another 2 are currently in the interview process.
My company is called General Communications, and we do audio/video installation. Most of our work is based in DC right now (House/Senate office buildings, and in/under the Capital/CVC), but I've also done work at Dahlgren Naval base. Our future holds work in the Bahamas and in Dubai, so I'm pretty psyched about doing those jobs someday.
