You're saying AEM put out a CAI that you can't just bolt on? The throttle body couldn't be any closer.

 

Any CAI, from what I understand, on an RSX you have to do some cutting somewhere. That's why one of my friends got a short ram instead of a Cold Air.

It sucks because you do have to do some cutting to route the intake into the bumper, its really not allot and its not even noticable especialy with the color of the pipe i have, you cant even see it. but after that you have to play with the shifter because if you dont have it set right it will hit the intake.

the cutting is minor, very minor.. i prefer the CAI, sounds great.
i forgot to mention that you also have to take the bumper off so that you can change the windsheild fluid tank. The intake comes with a new one since the intak filter wont fit in there with the stock tank.

 

Sounds like too much of a hassel. I had to jack my car up and put the bottom half of my intake in from the bottom up. Other than that it installed like cake.

Yeah I guess it could be as long as you know what you're doing. I don't have the patience for shit that doesn't work right from the start.

 

speaking of intake... I love my J's racing intake...it looks like a cf big slug
