Maybe it was just a bad day for everyone there but for a first experience, it completely sucked ass. However since I am an organizer for the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEETS, if marshallbc and I are able to rent out Old Dominion for one of our meets, then I will show my support and race at the event.

I went there on a Wednesday and they did in fact spray my lane with some type of sticky compound. I had lots of traction. Too much actually - I broke my trans.

i just went to o.d. last wednesday to t&t and they weren't even allowing cars with street tires to burn out in the water boxes. but then again, there isn't much reason to burnout with street tires, it doesn't really do much for them. drag radials or slicks on the other hand is another story.
*edit* with no burnout on 205/40/17 falken ziex 512's w/25psi, i pulled a 1.892 60'. there is really no need to waste your street tires doing burnouts.

I'm gonna make a trip out to OD sometime next month, so I vote for that.
Never really understood 1/8 races, it's like, ok I get it, but where's the rest of the track?
