Good timing is going about 80/85mph. Don't go over that, especially in the left lane. Last weekend, I came up 95, there were new unmarked state cops in every cut across. Leave early...arrive alive.

 

i went from fairfax to richmond and back with a few breaks in 3 hours in a dodge neon. with your m3 and a radar detector, id say an hour to get there.

I just came back today from school and I saw the most amount of state troopers today than the rest of the week. Be careful.

just keep an eye out when you're on the road and usually most groups of cars are doing decent speed anyway (80ish) so you won't get pulled over if you're in a group. (Hasn't happened to me at least.) I average at least 80, sometimes 90 if I'm in a hurry. I drive that route (I95 to I295 to I64) pretty much every other week and have never been pulled over for speeding. *knock on wood*

 

oh yeah I can usually hit 295 in about an hour so Richmond probably 1hr 15 min

 

I get from the 123 exit on 95 to 295 in exactly and hour. Everytime.
