Everyone might want to pay close attention to their speedometers this week. Its the smooth operator program, where the police get traffic enforcement happy(even more than they normally are). They will mostly be out looking for speeders and drunk drivers.....especially now through the 4th.

They were all over 28 today, pulling over cars left and right.

Thanks for the heads up, I saw 2 cops parked side by side on 28 by the Westfields exits, first time I've ever seen 2...

 

yay for dead inspection stickers on loud illegal looking trucks covered in mud!

What a coincidence. Perfect time for the new laws to take effect.

 

This morning there were two cops on 28 just past rt 29. I drive through there regularly and know to not speed as the popo's are always there. The car infront of me got nailed though, a clean looking civic hatch with rims.


Then later this evening on 28, by the overpass for the udvar-hazy center there were 3 cops off to the shoulder tagging cars as they passed by.

Might as well kick off the new "remdial fees" with a bang...........

 

nah, mud covers the sticker. i also dont speed. It is pretty hilarious how it coincides with the new laws though. Typical ffx.

 

Funny in years past...I got a 6 pt violation in those time frames during the summer.

So I noticed today that fairfax cops are above the law, I saw 2 cops riding side by side on their motorcycles.

 

that isn't just fairfax, thats all cops. yesterday I had a cop cut me off, in the middle of the intersection, and he didn't even signal.
