Has anyone bought from auto repo companys?
I have been checking out some of the auto repossesion auction websites.
I was wondering if anyone here has bought from these companys or knows if they are scams or such.
one i was looking at was www.AutoSourceNow.com
I posted this in the NoVa forums because I have from this area and wondered if anyone around here has had experiences. or knows of any companys on the East Coast.
Thanks

sometimes there good to buy from and sometimes not...alot of repo's are not taking care of good. most of them are in poor condition..but then you get some that are kept well..but buying it from a repo actuion you usually get the car very cheap or gotta pay whats left on the loan...in 98 i bought a 95 civic ex 4door from a repo auction that had 45,ooo miles, blue book value was $12,000, i got it for $5,000(not including tags/titling)..also i work for a reposession insurance company so i usually have the inside scoup on these things

the best thing about it is, you can test the drive the cars before you buy them and there's so many cars to choose from that you shouldnt have a hard time finding one
but if your looking for like a cheap EG/s13/EF to buy..goto one of the public auctions in PG county, you can walk away with a decent shaped civic for less than a grand
