Got laid off, need job.
there are jobs left, you just have to not be a lazy dumb fuck like most of the users on this site are. Jobs are not a commodity, too many people think they are entitled to a paycheck.
Which is exactly why I spent all this morning at Comcast's call center taking tests and doing interviews....yesterday I was at Geico from 1:30-4:00 taking tests and doing interviews....I go back there on the 23rd for some more tests....and earlier this week I had an interview for the new B-Dubs in Gainesville and took a few tests/had an interview at Terminix. Also dropped an application off at Red Lobster in Manassas. And drove to Dulles to apply at UPS/Cox. So I def haven't just been sitting around.

from what i can recall.... geico givesyou 30 days or so to get a ins license. unless you are applying for another type of position. so if you go for that study hard because it's not easy.
Yeah, one of my best friends job got on there. His brother has worked there for a few years and makes close to $80,000 a year now. But I got two referrals from them so I already look really good on paper to Geico. But yeah they pay for your training, and then once you officially are "hired" they pay for you to get your insurance agent license. I'm applying to be a Commercial Sales Agent b/c Geico in Fredericksburg just opened up that division at their location so they need employees for that position. Apparently its relatively new to the entire company, so its like the "hot" position to be falling into right now as it offers alot of room for expansion in the near future.
