if you do go to GMU, just make the best of it i guess. i mean this is just our opinions, you may actually like it there.

 

i dont think mason is all that bad...we have really good academics and great location to a lot of shit. yeah, its not a huge party school but college is what you make of it. Its not a good idea to go here if you are from the NoVa area. I'm from the peninsula and I like it b/c barely anyone from my HS goes here.

 

you are so on point nighthawksi, i'm originally from va beach, and when i came here i didn't really see a whole lot of familiar faces, which is a PLUS. gmu is in a great location, dc is just a 20-30 minute drive, and you don't get bored here. there's always something to do here in the nova/dc area.

well of course it is, academic-wise. i love my program!

 

Damn I'm originally from the beach too...
Mason is ok, but it isnt Tech...but then again you cant compare the 2 schools since they are so different both environmentally and academically.

On a side note, watch out for black ice all over the parking lot at Mason, I almost did the friggin splits walkin' past the cop station.
And no, I cant do the splits.
