Default Getting my hybrid emissions inspected this weekend....

Anybody got any suggestions on how I can pass full proof? They won't ask me for paperwork for my engine will they? Also, it's a 00' motor but I run a 95 gsr ecu, are they going to give me shit for that?
Car= 93 CX hatch
Motor= 00"B18c1
ECU= 95 GSR
I have a cat converter.

I don't see why you wouldn't pass.

I don't have any cats. Luckily I got da hookup!

Any JDM motor will fail the tests. That what I heard anyway, could
be wrong. I don't fuck with that dumb shit. (tests)

Must be nice to have the hookup. My motor is USDM because I wanted a traceable VIN number on it. I paid the extra $$ for peace of mind.

Then you should have no problem with it then. Just take it wherever
and get it done. Then do a four year registration. You'll know why
after your visit to the "new" dmv. 5 fucking hours yo! ahhhhhh!!!
Never again.

My car says I'm only allowed to buy a 2 year registration. F*ck the DMV, I'm mailing mine in.

i also heard just dump in the highest octane fuel, and octane booster, and on the way to the inspection rag the shit out of the car to get it hot. anyone else have some times such as a hookup?

You shouldn't have to do any of that. But I've heard that using racing fuel helps.

You have straight pipes or gutted cats? If not, I don't think you have much to worry about.

You do want your cat to be nice and hot when you get it done so it will work well. And yeah, the jdm's dont have EGR, and even if they dont automatically fail you on a visual check of that you will more then likely fail for NOX.

jdms have egr, and there its pretty hard for someone to tell the difference between a jdm h22a and a usdm h22a, considering preludes came with h22s from the factory.
