George mason students
hahaha I hope he does speak at george mason, I'd love to listen to him. He does tend to exaggerate or distort facts, but you have to look at the big picture, his message. Sure he doesn't go with the most honest way of going by it, but I still do agree with what he is trying to say.
How does someone get voted to not come? Him not coming probably has to deal with Senator Gramm and his sluty Enron boardmember wife who works at GMU.
Either way, GMU canceled the contract but apparently he is going to come for free and just talk to people. Should be interesting.

I read it, yea like dr. on point michael moore still plans to talk for free. Michael Moore is very persistent, he'll find a way... He'll probably just speak where the jc is or something

"While on the road, I will try to keep my blog up-to-date and post some pictures we take in each city. The three campuses on the tour which register the most students to vote (or who have the most non-voters committing to me to vote) will receive a special scholarship from us at the end of the tour. "
VOTE DAMNIT I WANNA SCHOLARSHIP!

My history teacher who just graduated from Mason said that they wanted to pay Moore 35k for a showing of his movie, with govt money, and somone found out and raised a ruckus.
Yep..so it's not happening. On the Gazette Headlines it stated that it was deemed inapropriate to have M. Moore paid by State funding..
I guess the Commonwealth does not like Moore. Although for 35k, I would have been pissed off.

no he wasn't getting paid 35k for showing his movie, he was getting paid 35k to try to get kids to vote, and of course not vote for bush. The only people who got mad were the republicans, which is understandable. So lets hope Moore speaks for free, b/c I want to hear what he has to say and I want to see what the bush zealots will do
