I doubt campus police will kick anyone out actually. GMU is a public place, and many strangers come all the time to the patriot center or to poke around gmu. Unless this meet is super huge, I don't think anyone will get kicked out.

FYI mason cops will not allow you to sit in the parking lot. colonial parking serivice is a bitch, especially because everyone coming is going to be an outsider. it wasn't a problem last year because it happened after hours, mind you the lots were empty (lot B was still open), but most importiantly GMUMS had set up a meeting time with the school so that community services/activities (whoever) knew it was happening.

I think your best bet is to move it across the street to university mall. the back row up by brions grille is a good spot. It's in direct view of braddock road, so its easier to get oncoming traffic onlookers, and you're legal. I ask that you do this, so you don't end up getting reports filed, leaving us a bad rep before we even get started in pulling things back together for Mason meets.

at this point we are working out the details, but in the mix lies a meet with food, music, and a little photo shoot for anyone interested.

yea that might work but id rather have it on campus its more fun that way and as far as cops go ive talked my way outa alot of shit so well be fine as long as people are bein gay and doin burnouts and donuts

 

I think it would be more fun on campus as well. more ppl from college will probably come by. Plus like Guido said, I don't think anything will happen as long as ppl rn't doin anything stupid and dangerous. Lot K is so big, I don't think parking will be a problem at all if there's not an event. No commuters go to school saturdays really. I think if a lot of ppl show up, and we feel uneasy about being busted, we could always drive across to university mall so we won't have any trouble. So for now I think the meet stays at mason on lot k, and at 2:00 pm if there's too many ppl or chance of being kicked out, we can just drive across the street

yea get that GMU parkin decal if you can. If a lot of us are mason students, we can just say we are students and we are just hangin around campus. If a lot are non-mason students, then we may just have to move to university mall. But no campus police I don't think will show up, lot K is far and they generally don't go there.
