well those are all the tickets my friends got.. im pretty sure the cops gave out more tickets for more fucked up reasons... 4 miles over speed limit.. SERIOUSLY!.. WAT THE FUK

They don't seem to target my car I have been driving around for 5 years with the same tint, exhaust and no front plate.

My friend got pulled over a year or 2 ago on 28 doing 126. He went to court and got 8 weeks in jail and a huge fine plus 6 months with no license. I was in court a few months ago in Fairfax and a kid went before me for 110 in a 55 and got 1 month in jail.

 

Is that accurate? I thought cops don't pull you over unless you're over 8mph over the speed limit and 12mph over on the freeways. That's why you can do 65 and not get fucked.

 

Bottom line is as long as there are cops, tickets are gonna get handed out. If you wanna make a difference, be part of internal affairs and put the crooked pigs behind bars.

 

That's a courtesy that a lot of officers allow, but are not obligated to. If you're doing 26 in a 25, you CAN be issued at ticket for it. More than likely the judge would throw it out, but even doing 1mph over, you can be ticketed.

In reference to the guy who got pulled over doing 100+ mph, I'd suggest you shop around for an attorney. Big money, but they somehow help.. I've heard the dumbest attorneys put up the dumbest arguments and say the dumbest things in court, but it always helps somehow. When I was a dumb 16 year old, I got caught doing something stupid--racing an idiot kid that I worked with stoplight to stoplight. We get caught; Kid gets an attorney, I didn't.. his attorney tells the judge he was having trouble with his clutch and that's what caused him to peel out, pull the e-brake up and slide to the red-light, exceed the speed limit, etc... He walked away from it, I got a restricted license for 90 days and had to take DIP. I can't complain because I did something stupid and I paid the price, and it could have been much worse... but SOMETHING WRONG WITH HIS CLUTCH? HELLLLLLOOOOO? I didn't smoke/squeal my tires, I didn't slide into the intersection recklessly, I just acted like an idiot and made an ass out of myself. Point being, attorneys can apparently work miracles. Hope you have a good job.
