this is not on the topic of cars, but a another schisty thing that cops do. a lady in my office is married to a herdon cop. she said they they send cops in bars, tell the owner/manager to shurt down the bar b/c there are too many people in it...as soon as people walk outside, they arrest them for being drunk in public. they think they have the power of God, and its time we stand up and do something about it. I dont know what can be done, but this is totally unacceptable. taxpayers pay their salaries and they are out to dick us so hard. sucks! late!

None of you get it. This is all motivated by money. We are the 2nd richest county in America so the people will take every opportunity to put people through the court system to drain them of funds. I don't see any laws changing soon because we have a crackpot for a governor who has made all our laws worse than the previous one, especially driving related.

As long as we have money we will be harassed, and the way the system is set up, I don't see anything changing for a LONG time. I'll be in NC for a good 3/4 of the year for the next 4 years though, so have fun.

And I guess u have never seen a fast corolla, i have a few friends in the area with turbos that can do some damage. Oh, and for you info, i got a turbo kit for my car sitting in my living room right now.

 

Isn't this the same one that won't bolt on to your car and has bad clearance issues? RWD Conversion with Lexus IS 300 Engine would be nice in a Corolla, other than that I'm fresh out of ideas

Where in VA? I lived in Fairfax my whole life and I moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina a year ago. Kinda miss fairfax sometimes honestly.. no impport scene down here other than mustangs and camaros

I saw black Corolla with a 90-96 MR2 Turbo engine swap at MIR run an 11.9 a few years back, pretty kick ass car.

thats not quite how it happened i live in herndon. They went into bars and saw people drinking then when the people walked outside they were charged iwth drinking in public and people were pissed abouit it so they stopped and i beleive those charges were stopped but they will sit in parking lots outside of bars and wait to watch you drive away. But as for the drunk in public it did happen and everyone was against it so they stopped
