DWI Checkpoint Saturday Night 11/7 Fair Oaks

DWI Checkpoint in Fair Oaks District Fairfax County police officers from around the county will conduct a sobriety checkpoint to deter and apprehend intoxicated drivers on Saturday, November 7 from 11:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. Sunday. All motorists will be stopped and drivers will be checked to assure that their abilities to drive have not been impaired by alcohol or drugs.

Yeah thanks for warning all the asshole drunks so they don't get stopped, thus making it more dangerous for others on the road. I hate these threads.

FAIL. it makes it safer, drunk drivers will know not to drive tonight, or at least the smart ones will know. the dumb ones, well...they're idiots and probably won't realize to make a u-turn or detour when coming up to the bright blue and red lights.
now if i printed out fliers in all the clubs and bars and lounges that warned of this, then yes, it might make things more dangerous overall as all the drunk fucks that would usually drink and drive in that area wouldn't get pulled over tonight.
