how can you say there are "NO" fast vw's on this site when the worlds fastest trapping mk4 is on this site? also the worlds quickest/fastest street mk4?
12.512@118mph on street tires in full street trim and pump fuel. drove it to VMP and ran it as it came off the street. lots of drag members witnessed the pass.
and its on video.
not to mention it also produced the most HP (all boost no nitrous) from a stock block/stock internals 1.8t.
i would venture to say 507bhp on a stock from oil pan to valve cover 1.8t is quite the accomplishment. i mean i could be wrong

Well i havent once said that there werent any fast vws on here. For the love of christ...i was just trying to help the kid out and send him to the vortex. Damn...down boys!

find me a car that traps 118mph in full street trim with no seats removed or anything ... remember pump fuel, 93 oct. on top of the fact that the pass was made on dot legal street tires. not slicks.
i mean think about it, the first mk4 in the 11's trapped 118 with full on slicks... i cant help my traction issues. the car is more like a supra rather than a vw. nutty top end power.
i will admit the car isnt quick, but it is very fast...
quick in reference to ET and fast in reference to trap speed.

last i checked the turbo pumpkin was only making 370bhp... thats a far cry from 507bhp.

its just when people start to spout off like they have a fucking clue but yet the dont, someones gotta step in sometimes.
