how much does renting a cop cost? if so, we should have a cop in front of the entrance staring at people saying, if you do anything stupid, i will give you a ticket... i came to chat and look, not to rev and get tickets

I never heard any noise coming for the 240. The victors 240 wit livin dreams wasnt there and i didnt see jason either. Also i talked with the owner after most of the people left and they(cops) can give you tickets on private property. They cant kick you off without the owners concent but they can give you tickets for reckless,exhaust..ect.

If that's true, how can we have autocrosses? I don't know about you, but if I spun my car at 60mph on the street (did that at the autocross this weekend), wouldn't that be considered reckless driving? What about all the trailered cars that show up with now exhausts AT ALL, etc... Just curious...

No, first friday it will stay. Keep it regular. If the weather is too poor of conditions you can choose to not come out. It is in a covered parking garage, so the weather doesnt matter.

Alot of autocrosses are backed by SCCA or some other group including sponsors. They are on private property with permission and roped off so that bystanders cant just walk in/around the track (not so in the parking garage). There are rules about doing "stupid" stuff when not on the track too.

Theres alot of things that make AutoCrossing ok, but cops can still nail you on your way in/out if your car is not street legal in alot of aspects.
