this is just an idea, but i think we should record plates of people who are dickin around and ban em from this meet... just an idea, needs more planning though... and definaetely we will have a sign nexty time to direct people directly into the basement so the other floors wont be messed up.... if everyone would have gone straight in to the basement, no one would have even known we were there....

for meets like this, it's almost entirely up to the participants to not be an ass and do stupid shit. nothing will work unless people cooperate

 

We need to get the problems corrected so we can keep having this meets

 

One solution is rather than inviting the world, we come up with a distro list of peeps that are trusted and use that as the list. Maybe very the meet times/places and inform the 'trusted' members. Expand the list as we meet new people that we believe are trusted (notice how i'm tryin to include myself in the list to start with? )

I dunno -- i just think regardless of wether or not we bitch at people for bein stupid -- there really isn't anything we can do to stop them, or more importantly, stop the people who have no association with us and are there to simply cause trouble/race etc.

Tough problem to address

 

I don't think theives are an issue, there are so many people chillin in the lot that you can leave your car, its just like with any parking lot you park in, you run the risk of getting parts or your car jacked. I think many enthusiasts are aware of this fact and can look out for one another.

 

Alright, I just got of the phone wiht Mac a few minutes ago. He told me that he would give us another chance to see how it goes. he said that the cops called him up and asked if they could kick us out, and he asked them if we were doing anything we were not suppose to and the cop said not really but this is "the fast and the furious crowd" he had hanging out down there. He said the problems were caused b/c a "few gang-bangers" came. He told me to call him back tommorow and we would try and work some things out. So we got one more chance down there but if there is as much dicking around as last friday u guys better start looking for a new place.
