BTW when your blow-off valve is sounding off between gears I'll be pulling another car on you cause I don't have to lift to shift.

We're not high school kids. We're adults that actually bought and own the things we talk about, not little boys writing about what they dreamt during their after snack nap.

you see this is where your age comes into play. older people on here understand what is meant by this statment. it has nothing to do with who our team is, it has to do with age and experience. now this doesn't mean a younger person can't drive but usually (more often than not) an older person has more experience and will out drive the younger. do you understand now?
i've noticed in just about every thread you post in there is amlost always a smart ass comment that comes from your direction. once again showing you age and mentality, hense the "pup" comment toward you.

not being full of myself, just responding to your comment. my statment does in so many words say "not in all cases". there are some young guys out there that can drive,but.........who do you always hear/read about decorating a pole or tree with their car? if i'm not mistaken that would be younger folks. not to say that older ppl haven't done it as well, usually though it is the younger group because of....lack of experience.

Getting through the gears as quick as possible with no miss shifts is only part of the battle. Most young folks borrow Dad's LS1 f-body and feel it is the pennnicle of performance and 90% of the time is more then the average teenage can control WOT(a/t or m/t). When you talk more serious street machines(400whp+) traction becomes an issue above 40MPH and keeping control becomes far more important. It takes experiance to learn to keep control and being able to handle cars of differant configurations takes more experiance.

The few 21 y/o and younger that have great driving abilities are stemed from secretly(from the law) driving Dad's cars since they are 10 or now starting in Jr Dragsters at 7.

Fearlessnes should not be mistaken for driving ability(#1 reason for the youth death toll today). You need a small amount of fear, but need to learn and keep your head at the same time. Panicing will cause an accident faster then fearlessnes. They only way I know of to find a balance is EXPERIANCE and in most cases belongs to older folks
