the paper says that speed and alcohol may have been a factor. he lost control of his honda civic and struck a tree. he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. he had to be air lifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he died.

witnesses reported Elmer H. Mejia was driving faster than the posted speed limit and that no other vehicle was near Mejia's car when the wreck occured. alcohol was also found in his car and investigators are waiting for a toxicology report to see if alcohol was a factor in the wreck.

 

Hmm I didn't hear about this on the news. That's sucks for the guy. So was alcohol a factor. Was he drinking and driving?

damn that sucks ass. So far I have known 3 accidents that have happened from friend of a friend in the last month, and interesthing is they were all Civics. My co-worker said her son's friend died racing on the side of eden center. Him and this girl were racing up a hill, and she said they lost control and hit a sign or something. Anyone hear of this accident?
