do you know if they will be selling passes for the new decks they are putting up? and do grad students get priority parking? i dont wanna have to park in lot K or whatever.
Mason is definitely getting a lot nicer. Right now there doing a ton of construction, so alot of things suck right now. There building another parking deck so hopefully that will help a little bit with the parking, There building a lot more apartment dorms and more buildings at the fairfax campus. What sucks is some majors will require you to take classes at there other locations like the one in prince william
Parking at GMU is ridiculous..........especially if you afternoon classes.
Finding a parking spot involves driving around for 20 mins, stalking people to their cars and some NYC driving skillz.
Other than that, GMU is an excellent school.

thats why your betting off just taking a futher spot, it saves time instead of driving around trying to find a good one.
Phi Sigma Kappa
The problem is, they demolished most of the lots to build new buildings. Building the parking garages probably does not make up for the lost space that they sacrificed by demolishing a ton of lots.
I was a CS and then IT major, great program except that I had to drive to prince william campus pretty much all the time. Ugh.

they have free shuttles now that drive you from the fairfax campus to the prince william campus.. and vice versa.. completely free of charge.. and they are nice shuttles.. reclining seats.. AC/heat.. Wi-Fi internet.. and i saw on one shuttle they were installing 4 tvs.. I ride the shuttle a lot.. gives me time to sleep. I park my car at prince william.. ride the shuttle to fairfax.. shuttles leave like every hour
