Car Alarm Reccommendations
I'm thinking about getting a new alarm for my car, as I have upgraded the car a lot in the last year or so, and my alarm is a little outdated. I'm looking to get the basics along with a possible fuel cut-off option. I also don't have power locks, but am looking to add on keyless entry as well. I was hoping some of you could give me some ideas about what system to get and/or what shops I should check out in the NOVA area.
Thanks,
-Nate

viper 550 comes with remote start, keyless entry(you would have to buy door actuators for every door you want to be opened), starter kill, and 4 channels you can program to be used by the remote. You can buy a proximity sensor to go off when people get close to your car, fuel cut off you would have to do
unplug the main ribbon which usually is the longest on connected for about 10 seconds and put it back in. if you have remote start function, make sure you have the valet switch so you can program the tach (to do this: turn the car on, and within the first 5 seconds, press and hold the valet switch until your LED for your alarm or LED on the brain lights and stays lit. let go of the valet switch then turn the car off)
