R/T... 1.026
60' ... 2.371
1/8..... 9.818
1/4...... 15.03
MPH...... 94.14

I need drag tires soon ..... car has not tuned yet.

del sol 95 GSR

skunk2 pro IM
JDM header
OBX high flow cat
Tanabe G2 exhaust
99-00 si wheels

Car weighs: 2440lb (weigh today at capitol raceway)

next steps:
>lighter wheels and tune then back to the track

question:

1) At what RMP do you guys launch?
2) slip clutch or pop clutch?

well capitol raceway isn't a good track. the strip conditions are horrible. esp for FWD. try running it at MIR see your times then =).

Hold your revs around 4500 RPM and slip the clutch until you hit full traction then slam it. You should be able to launch off while v-tec is engaged.

Capitol is the worst track I have ever been to preparation wise. Wait till you go to MIR you will be scared to break something it hooks so good.

again, what other people have said. Capital isn't called crapital for no reason. Just practise launching on the street you'll figure it out.

I'll bring it to MIR next time after tuning. I did slip the clutch at 5RMP but the tires still spinning after WOT.... I need to play with this new toy for awhile before getting better
